Between lust and abuse and in a return to an oral tradition more visceral than our childhood memories could ever remember, RotkÄppchen (« little red riding hood » in the Tuton forests) eviscerates, skins and tears to shreds the motive of the murder perpetrated in this age old tale.
Through his writing fond of vertigos and flesh, Sylvain Huc choreographs in this piece the primitive convulsions and the rigor mortis of a macabre duo. There an aesthete wolf with his maniacal crimes meets a little riding hood in glory or in agony.
Clever and wild, the bodies of this piece experience the flesh both throbbing and inert, in a “butcher’s story”.
